Sorry for the lateness of this post, but that’s what I get for staying up relaxing…

…and taking a midnight nap! HAHA All the while, Timbaland is making waves!

Superstar music producer Timothy Mosley is known as “Timbaland” in the music industry and he made his real splash on the music scene when he produced Justin Timberlake’s hit single “Cry Me a River” in late 2002 and the other Timberlake song everyone knows and loves: “Sexyback” in 2006!

Most famously known for being JT’s go-to guy for producing music, Timbaland is also one of the most innovative artists and musicians on the map! He released two albums of his own crazy, amazing collaborative works in 2007 and 2009 as a gift to the music world…

Shock Value contained possibly my favorite Timbo song of all-time: “The Way I Are” featuring fresh new talent that year by the name of Keri Hilson. The album also gave us the smash hit “Apologize” by One Republic and “Give It To Me” featuring Nelly Furtado and his best buddy Justin Timberlake!

Shock Value II contains newer artist collaborations as far as 2009 is concerned. Timbo joined forces with Nelly Furtado & SoShy for “Morning After Dark”, Katy Perry for “If We Ever Meet Again”, and Timberlake again for “Carry Out”.

So now that I’ve jogged your memory, I wanted to tell you that Timbaland has just made a big move away from his over a decade alliance with Interscope Records to work exclusively in a joint venture record deal with Sony & Epic Records. He’s bringing his label “Mosley Music Group” to new territory because Epic’s CEO, L.A. Reid, was blown away by his talent on Michael Jackson’s album “Xscape” and had to scoop Timbo up for himself! 😀

It’s exciting news for Timbaland who has never stopped working with Justin Timberlake! He was the main producer for JT’s comeback album “The 20/20 Experience” and even produced his two biggest hits from the dual album release: “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors”!

The real bummer that I have to announce to you is that Timbaland is due to release his FINAL ALBUM next year! It’s hopefully all a lie and he’ll be releasing more albums in the future, but I don’t know. He’s been talking about it like it’s really the end of his solo albums for sure! 😦

Timbaland’s new album will be called “Textbook Timbo” and is expected to be a 2015 release! I’m so excited to hear new music from Tim and I’m happy to say he has previewed a track for us!

Take a listen to his Jay Z collaboration, “Bounce”:

Whether or not Timbaland does another solo album or not is probably not the worst thing that could happen. All we need to do is make sure we keep tabs on who produced the next Justin Timberlake hit and then we’ll remember to check out which songs he’s produced most recently!

I have to say that if you ever get the chance to see Timbaland’s E! True Hollywood Story, you should! I watched it and I was incredible! He has been through so much as a person and was once in love with the late, great R&B diva Aaliyah!

I can tell you that “Textbook Timbo” with have incredible collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Jay Z, Drake, and of course Justin Timberlake!

I can’t wait to hear your new album Timbaland! Welcome back to the spotlight!
