Kid Rock announces $20 Best Night Ever Tour!

Standard

Living in Nashville has really introduced me to a lot of country singers…

…and I do love a good outlaw guy like Kid Rock!

I’ve never really been a fan of his music, but I do love his persona. It’s like the whole “I’m a badass and you know it thing” that apparently makes me like people! HAHA I like to call it swagger.

Well I guess you can now call me a brand new Kid Rock fan because I’m hearing that he’s going on a concert tour in which the tickets are going to cost $20 each! Twenty dollars. That’s it! Can you believe it?!

Kid is going on a 36-date U.S. tour to support his upcoming album “First Kiss” and I’m happy to say that you can support him on tour for…you guessed it…20 DOLLARS!

US_$20_Series_2006_ObverseI would go to a lot more shows if they only cost me one Andrew Jackson!

So now you’re probably thinking, “He’s gonna charge me an arm and a leg for merchandise, concessions, and parking, right?!”

WRONG!

Mr. Rock is even offering reduced parking, concession, and merchandise prices!

I think not only is this dude a genius…he’s thoughtful and the least greedy touring musician I’ve ever known!

Most ticket prices are extremely inflated to cover the cost of the show which is exorbitantly high with merchandise, venue rental fee, and lights/sound. It’s so expensive to take your show from city to city all over America and for some tours…all over the world!

Kid’s tour will feature the opening act Foreigner and begins June 24th in Hartford, Connecticut. Plus, the $20 tickets you purchase from Walmart are considered to be “all-inclusive” tickets that include parking and a $2 coupon off of his new album “First Kiss” which comes out next Tuesday, February 24th!

Not even the first few rows are paid upgrades! They’re given to a select number of lucky fans at each show! GIVEN…AKA…FREE! 😀

In the words of the Kid:

“I’m so happy about the $20 thing. I’ve said before, I feel like I’ll be able to ride this into the sunset. I really do. We’ve even learned more from being the guinea pig to do it the first time, and now we’ve learned so much more. We thought about raising the ticket price five bucks, and then we’re like, ‘Let’s just keep it $20, man. Let’s find ways that we can even be more efficient now that we’ve done it one time, that we can make more money but we’re not messing with the people who are paying.’ I’m just very fortunate to be in a position to do it.”

Very fortunate, yes. Very humble, OH YEAH! I’m happy to know that this isn’t Kid’s first rodeo with a $20 tour. He did it back in 2013 and it was extremely successful!
