First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR and second of all…

…did you happen to catch Pitbull ringing in the New Year in Miami?!

I have to admit that I watch New Years Eve shows! HAHA I know that’s really funny of me, but I had friends that were ready to watch the funny countdown shows with me so we made a night of it 🙂

I was mainly focused on my favorite comedienne Kathy Griffin & favorite news anchor Anderson Cooper on CNN! They had a hilarious banter back and forth! Kathy taught him who Tony Romo was and even dyed his hair to make him more patriotic!

It was a jolly good time!

But then, in-between commercials I discovered that Fox was playing “Pitbull’s New Year Revolution” and I was hooked! I’m a HUGE Pitbull fan so I was shocked to know that he was ringing in the new year in Miami AND televising it on Fox! 😀

I came in on a dance competition for a date with Ashley and I’m not even too sure who Ashley is, but she did choose the right guy! HAHA

Former MTV VJ for TRL, La La was Pitbull’s host in a scantily clad Mugler dress:

Besides the dress that turned heads, the show was amazing and showed some great friends to Pitbull like Becky G, Fifth Harmony, and a Nashville band:

The Band Perry

There was even a performance of “Bailando” with Enrique Iglesias & Descemer Bueno! That’s the #1 Latin song of 2014 and everybody knows it! HAHA

And Fall Out Boy was performing on the show too!

Fallout Boy

The thing that happened that blew my socks off was when Pitbull went on a yacht that took him from where the telecast was filmed from to Bayfront Park! He got off the yacht with his female dancers in tow to get on the stage and ring in the new year with the thousands of fans waiting for him!

Pitbull sang so many hits like “Don’t Stop The Party”, “International Love”, “Timber”, and “Give Me Everything Tonight” with Ne-Yo!!!

I really wish there was more documentation of what happened last night! I think everyone is hungover and partied out today so we’ll have to wait for the photos and YouTube videos to appear! But while we wait…check out when Pitbull slipped out of nowhere:

Thank you Pitbull for bringing in the new year for us & Happy 2015 to all!

Pete Wentz will relaunch his record label!

Pete Wentz, the bassist and lyricist for Fall Out Boy, has big plans this month!

And no it’s not that he’s buying a new, one-of-a-kind Bass! 😀

Pete is more than just a bassist for one of the greatest punk rock bands of all-time…he’s a business man and his next venture is quite wise if you ask me!

Pete will relaunch his record label “Decaydance” as “DCD2” later this month!!!

Pete’s first new release from DCD2 will be from the singer “LOLO”

Lauren Pritchard AKA “LOLO” is based out of Brooklyn, New York. She was trending in 2013 because she was featured on Panic! At The Disco’s single “Miss Jackson”.

It’s so convenient, that her video for her first single, “Hit & Run” came out today:

Pete’s next project will be a release from the band “New Politics”. I’ll be honest with you…I saw this band play a 25 minute set in my favorite concert venue (State Theatre in St. Petersburg, FL) and they were unbelievable! The amount of energy in their music and their movement on stage was electric! This is definitely one of the best bands out there and I’m proud of Pete for taking notice!

New Politics have done so well with their hit “Harlem” being in the Top 5 hits on modern rock radio for 2 months and their hit “Tonight You’re Perfect” making the Top 15!

And Pete hasn’t stopped there…he’s also invited LOLO and New Politics to open for Fall Out Boy on their MONUMENTOUR that is happening this summer!

monumentourParamore will be on tour with them too…no big deal! HAHA 😀

Pete has an amazing track record of discovering new artists/bands including:

Not to mention that Fall Out Boy’s comeback album “Save Rock and Roll” came out on April 12th, 2013 and went gold with their multi-platinum single: “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light ‘Em Up)”
