Discover: Seth Glier

I’m often listening to Spotify in order to find new music and I found him…

…his name is Seth Glier and he’s so delightful! 🙂

I’m not picky when it comes to genres and therefore I’m also a very big singer/songwriter fan! Seth came up as a suggested song for me and I was really surprised to hear the depth and beauty of his music! The first song I heard was “Plastic Soldiers”.

I love a good story song and I’m a sucker for a unique voice…Seth offers both! So you can go ahead and guess that I was hooked from first listen…which doesn’t happen for me too often, by the way.

As a 24 year old young man from the Massachusetts area, Seth has made his way from an opening act to the headliner of his own concerts including appearances at major folk festivals! But that’s not all…He’s even received a nomination from the Recording Academy (AKA the Grammys) for the work he did on his album “The Next Right Thing” that was released on January 11th, 2011.

Since that album was released, Seth has gone on to play along with a variety of respected artists & bands including: James Taylor, Ani DiFranco, Martin Sexton, Toad The Wet Sprocket and Edwin McCain.

He plays over 250 shows a year and so naturally…most of his songs are written on the road!

He’s constantly driving!!!
