Taylor just finished her world tour for her incredible album “Red”! The tour was 15 months long and reached a total of 4 continents!!!

I’m so incredibly surprised to say that Miss Swift has just created a new record for all-time revenue generated from a Country Music tour.
The amount of money the tour made = 150 MILLION DOLLARS

I’m honestly shocked considering I just heard that The Eagles tour raked in $145 million in 12 months so certainly I wasn’t expecting T-Swift to steal the throne from a legendary band.

Taylor’s world tour for Red has beaten out the previous highest grossing concert tour by a country music act which was Tim McGraw & Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul tour back in 2006 and 2007 that brought in $141 million!

Taylor’s Red tour all began on March 13th, 2013 in Omaha, Nebraska of all places and continued on a 6 month trek through the US! She ended the US leg of her tour with 3 sold-out shows in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena back in September!!!

The last 2 months of 2013 had Taylor in Australia & New Zealand!!! Yet the most impressive tour dates Taylor played were her 2 shows on July 26th & 27th at the New England Patriots stadium where 110,712 tickets were sold and the gross profit was $9.4 million!

And just so you know…there were five…COUNT THEM…”5″ shows at London’s very own O2 Arena in February with a whopping 74,740 tickets sold and a gross profit of $5.8 million!

Taylor’s colleague in Pop Music, Katy Perry, has had an explosive start to her World Tour for “Prism” as well! She played the first 4 shows of her tour in Raleigh, Washington, D.C., Nashville, & Atlanta and sold-out every single show with a 4-show gross profit of $7.8 million!!!
