Zayn Malik calls out Naughty Boy!

Zayn, Zayn, Zayn! I’ve been sick and tired of his tirade…

…and now he’s causing even more of a ruckus!

The brooding gent seen above is of course one of the former heartthrobs from the British boy band One Direction.

On March 25th, the internet broke with the news of Zayn’s departure from one of the most commercially successful boy bands of all time! Every one was asking “Why?!” and “What the heck is he thinking?!”

I remember thinking “If you think you’re gonna pull a Timberlake…you’re mistaken! I don’t even think Harry Styles can do that!”

Despite not having the monstrous success of *NSYNC’s Justin Timberlake, he’s been causing trouble by saying he wanted to be “a normal 22 year old” and then he’s leaking new music that placates his to desire to become a solo artist!

Zayn has been fighting back and forth with the producer Naughty Boy who was the guy who initially leaked the solo track of Zayn singing a never before heard song…if I recall correctly…THE DAY after he quit the band!

To make matters better, the song was a One Direction song, but Zayn was the only one singing it on the demo that Naughty Boy leaked!

He IS naughty after all! HAHA

Well now that Naughty Boy has released a cover of Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type” sung by Mr. Malik…Zayn went off on him on Twitter saying:

Talk about “rude”!

I’m going to side with Naughty Boy on this one! I’m sorry, but I’m SO tired of Zayn being a punk and acting out. It’s time to grow up and see that is being hyped up aren’t even things that represent Zayn’s sound as a solo artist. It’s just being released for the shock value, but you know, normal 22 year olds should just get on with their lives and not feel bad about something getting released that is akin to me singing “Happy Birthday” in my own stylistic preference which would be Jazz, of course. That’s all I’m sayin!

All things aside, I’m looking forward to hearing what Zayn’s sound will be!

Zayn Malik leaves One Direction!

This is the biggest news of the day in music that I’ve heard from everywhere…

…and that is that Zayn Malik is officially no longer a part of One Direction!

I’m a fan of One Direction! I was ashamed to say that years ago, but I’ve grown into my cringe-worthy love for the boys of 1D! HAHA My friends have been egging me on for years to like them and whenever I heard “Story Of My Life” for the first time…that was it!

That song was the point of no return for me!

I don’t have posters of the boys on my walls, or have a t-shirt, and I’ve never attended a concert of theirs…so basically I like them safely from afar! HAHA

On this gloomy Wednesday, March 25th, one of every girl’s favorite One Direction members, Zayn Malik, officially announced his departure from the band!

I like how One Direction and Simon Cowell (who is essentially their creator) made it entirely clear that the band is going to continue on as a four member group. I honestly think they did that so that the internet would not break! LOL One Direction fans are passionate and they really did need a confirmation that the band is carrying on without Mr. Malik.

Zayn took off two tour dates recently due to “stress” after online rumors that placated that he had cheated on his fiancée Perrie Edwards of the English girl group Little Mix!

I guess he just wants to do as he said and become a normal 22 year old, but don’t you think it will take a while for his fame to wear off? Well I guess maybe not because as long as he doesn’t pull a Justin Timberlake and go solo, he might be able to pull off living a normal life like Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC! 😀

My best friend is obsessed with Zayn and she texted me the news today with a crying emoticon. I know she’s going to be pretty upset by this for a while and to be honest…it’s difficult for me to imagine this band as a 4 member group, but I guess the Backstreet Boys are proof of it working since Kevin Richardson left the group from June 2006 until he rejoined in April 2012!

And I thought he’d never be back, alright! 😉

I’m sincerely hoping that Zayn doesn’t go the Timberlake or Kirkpatrick route, but that he pulls off a seamless Kevin Richardson and shows back up in the group within the next 5-6 years! That may be all the time he needs to be “normal”.

I know Twitter is on fire right now with the many broken hearts, but hey! Maybe he did actually cheat on his fiancée and all you girls might have a chance at becoming Mrs. Malik again! Okay! I’m just trying to find a silver lining!!

One Direction breaks 2014 ticket sales record!

One day, Simon Cowell had an epiphany and put five young men together as a group…

…and today they are rolling in the dough!

Yeah, you guessed it! I’m talking about the british boy band One Direction! And I’m really quite amazed at the amount of money their tour has made, but not only that…

They are playing in sold-out football stadiums!

Can we just pause for a minute and say whaaaat?!

So it’s safe to say that Simon Cowell has never regretted his psychic abilities since the day before he formed this boy band! I know I wouldn’t!

Simon was responsible for forming the group and I do want that to be known because never once have I seen five guys (who auditioned on their own) become formed into a group right then and there on TV! So thanks to Sir Cowell and the X Factor…the world was introduced to the boy band that would break records for sales and the amount of screaming fans!

So today I’m learning that One Direction has broken the record for 2014 when it comes to tickets sold and subsequently…gross profit!

They shattered the $200 MILLION ticket sales glass ceiling with a whopping $230! I don’t even know what to say but WOW!

Right now, One Direction is on their 2014 Where We Are Tour and they have sold 2.7 million tickets for a total of 53 sold out stadium concerts! I’m sorry, but all I can picture is Simon Cowell throwing money into the air and “making it rain” HAHA It’s so hard not to imagine what SiCow is doing right about now!

I know a lot of people are freaking out over One Direction and how they need to go back to London and blah blah blah. However…I didn’t like them in the beginning, but I do think that their music is charming and I would never throw shade at anyone that’s successful!

Bravo to 1D for making it this far and for their major success in the US & the world!
