There’s a new talent show on TV and it features legendary songwriter Linda Perry
It’s called “Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project”
Linda Perry is one of the best songwriters in the business who co-wrote “Get The Party Started” for P!nk, “Beautiful” for Christina Aguilera, and “What You Waiting For?” for Gwen Stefani…just to name a few 🙂
The season just started with the premiere episode on Wednesday 6/18 and the regular air dates will be Wednesday nights at 10/9C on VH1.

According to VH1, The Linda Perry project was formed from “an exhaustive nationwide search” and “the artists Linda has chosen are some of the best unsigned artists in the country, covering almost every genre of music from Rock to Urban and everything in between.”
Sounds like a great show to me!!!
Over the next 3 weeks on VH1, Linda will transform these songwriters into superstars just like her 😀
I have yet to watch the premiere, but I’m very excited to see these songwriters and hear their songs!!!
Linda is a tough cookie and is not afraid to say what’s on her mind. She made a statement about being bothered in situations when an artist like Beyoncé changes one word in a song and gets songwriting credit.

Linda went on to say: “Well hahaha um that’s not songwriting but some of these artists believe if it wasn’t for them your song would never get out there so they take a cut just because they are who they are. But everyone knows the real truth – even Beyonce. She is talented but in a completely different way.”
Yes she is talented! The Super Bowl halftime show proved that! 😉
