Music Row prepares to welcome Virgin Hotel!

Just when you thought Nashville wasn’t getting more cool, you’re wrong because…

…the mecca of the city’s music business is getting a Virgin Hotel!

I don’t know how I didn’t look into the location of this amazing new hotel before, but I did hear the amazing news that billionaire Richard Branson was expanding his Virgin hotel chain to Nashville about a year ago! However I had never really looked into it much since then and now I’m hearing that the hotel is going to be on Music Row!

What an exciting way to get more business to the Row, more attention from tourists, and a nicer option to stay than say the Best Western: Music Row if you want a fancier resort feel, which I know would be my choice if it were given 🙂

No hate at all to the Best Western because sometimes…

…you want a cheaper room so you can have more spending cash!!

There’s a big crater across the street from a building I’m quite familiar with which is Belmont University’s Curb College facility and I wish there would have been a sign a few months ago letting me know that the Virgin Nashville hotel would take its place there. Google Earth’s images are too old to see that crater, but just trust me when I say it will be on 16th Avenue about a block and a half away from the traffic circle on the left hand side of the road. The traffic circle is all the way down the Row and with the speed limit at 35 mph, I don’t want you to be driving too slow like tourists HAHA You’re welcome 😀

Richard Branson is one of my favorite people in the world so I’m tickled to death that he chose Nashville as a city he felt was necessary to invest in. That makes me so happy!

The hotel’s address will be One Music Row which is quite fabulous if you ask me! HAHA The hotel is going to have 240 rooms and is planned to include 15 penthouse residential units! Then of course there will be a live music venue, a recording studio, and a rooftop pool!

Nashville’s Virgin hotel is scheduled to open in fall 2016 and will of course be the second Virgin hotel in the world in front of New York City’s which won’t be open mid 2017! I feel happy that we beat out New York! 😀

Lady Gaga will sing in space next year!

There’s not a day that goes by when I have enough time to think about space…

…but today that’s all I can think about since Lady Gaga will perform there next year!

I never really dreamed of space as a kid or wanted to be an astronaut. The closest I ever got to space was watching Harland William’s hilarious performance in “Rocketman” 😀

That used to be my favorite movie! lol

But anyways, Lady Gaga is planning on singing in the Virgin Galactic spaceship in 2015!

You’ve gotta love Virgin’s CEO Richard Branson!

First of all, I had no idea that the Virgin Galactic was ready to fly as early as next year and second of all, why does Gaga always “out-crazy” herself?! HAHA Consider my made up word to mean “out-do” and you’ll understand what I’m saying. I just think that she is constantly pulling stunts and I want her to slow it down with “the crazy” 🙂

Lady G is prepared to perform on the Virgin spaceship at zero gravity and now she’s saying that she wants for David Bowie to sing with her in space! I couldn’t think of a better duo to sing in space since they are known to be eccentric which means a space performance won’t phase them one bit! Although I must say that if I had the chance to ever go to space, I would participate in the talent show too! HAHA It’s space so you’re allowed to be as crazy as an alien…right?!

In 2004, Mr. Bowie had a heart attack onstage during a live show in Germany and his last public performance was alongside Alicia Keys at a charity event in 2006! 😦 Poor guy!

It’s a rumor that Lady Gaga will perform as part of New Mexico’s 3-day music festival called “Zero G Colony” where high-tech gadgets & new technology are celebrated. And according to Us Weekly, Gaga will fly into space to perform one song at dawn on the third day of the festival! If that’s true, I know that I’ll be glued to my TV watching that craziness unfold!

The Virgin Galactic has gotten a lot of buzz for being the first spaceship that you can buy a ticket to ride on just like you would for Southwest Airlines! The tickets are $250,000 EACH so it’s only for the elite wealth of the world to enjoy while we watch on TV! 😉

Lady Gaga might see the many celebrity customers on her flight, including: Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher, Katy Perry, Russell Brand, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kate Winslet! I dare Leo & Kate to put on space suits and do a remake of the Titanic!

Lady Gaga is constantly switching it up and doing things that nobody would expect and I guess that’s just what makes her unique.
